How it all started

I first learned to crochet from my grandmother (we call her Lola) when I was around 10 years old. She used a 1mm hook and crochet thread, so I got bored very quickly. When I got to college, I started to see more fashionable crochet projects online, learned what yarn was, and the rest is history.

In the last 10 years, Jacq of Yarns has grown from a collection of unfinished works in progress to a fiber arts design brand that still includes a lot of unfinished works in progress. Here you’ll find a a mix of finished patterns and general outlines to inspire your next project.

I invite you to be creative, learn a new technique and maybe even use up some of your yarn stash along the way. Enjoy!
